Dr Chandra Bondugula serves as a senior leader for the Alabama healthcare Executives Forum and promotes ACHE education opportunities to physician leaders.
Dr Chandra initiated and led the startup residency program. He was instrumental in getting the Initial Institutional Accreditation from ACGME.
He is the founding designated institutional official (DIO) who initiated and headed the Graduate Medical Education Program at North Alabama Medical Center, Florence, AL. Consequently, an Internal Medicine Residency Program with 36 residents was developed and the non-teaching community hospital transformed into an academic medical centre.
As the founding DIO, he educates Medical Residents by imparting various lectures and didactics on an array of healthcare topics like:

- Price Transparency
- Quality Improvement & Patient Safety
